What is your personal/professional background?

I have been in the casino/customer service industry for 29 years.

What are your personal hobbies or interests?

Going to concerts, festivals, and traveling.

How did you first learn about Voodoo Beer Franchise?

Research into various franchise business opportunities.

Why is Voodoo Brewing Co. the right fit for you?

I fell in love with the beer pub franchise concept immediately as it is the type of business I would frequent as a consumer.

What did you like about Voodoo’s business model?

They disclosed every aspect of the brewery franchise, took time to answer questions, and offered the immediate and ongoing support that I need.

What did you like about meeting Voodoo’s corporate team?

They were very down to earth, not the corporate stuffy type. They were very relaxed and welcoming.

What did you like about the Voodoo Discovery Day?

I enjoyed meeting both the corporate guys and the potential beer pub franchise owners. I also like that they shuttled us around and allowed us to experience the different food and alcohol options that I will be providing. It was very professional.

What was the “a-ha” or “lightbulb” moment that made you want to franchise with Voodoo?

I was really sold on the beer franchise concept and excited for how the brewpub franchise concept melds with the local culture here in my area immediately.

Why did you want to become an entrepreneur?

Because my line of work no longer brings me any satisfaction or joy. I was burned out and looking for a way to bring that personal satisfaction and joy back into my life. 

What do you think will make you successful? 

I am exceptionally good at customer service and enjoy meeting and providing services that make my customers happy and satisfied.

What sets Voodoo apart, in your eyes, from other franchise opportunities in the restaurant/hospitality Industry?

I really like the beer franchise concept, but it is the level of training and support that distances Voodoo Brewing Co. from other restaurant franchise concepts I have investigated.

What has been the best part of your experience with the Voodoo Brewing Co. corporate team so far? 

They have all been very professional and hands on so far as punctuality and willingness to work with my schedule. Bill has always been prompt with answering any concern or question I have had.

What advice would you give to a potential Franchise Owner?

I would advise them to follow their dreams, but to really do their homework to determine the best fit for them with the concept, training, and professionalism and personality fit with the corporate team.

What do you look forward to most about owning your own Voodoo brewpub? 

I look forward to bringing something to my area that it doesn’t yet have, I look forward to providing an environment that is both family friendly and fun for a broad demographic and having the authority to run my business as I see most beneficial to my customers.
